Use this page if you want data about you deleted by Vilohit Technology Private Limited (“Vilohit Tech”), a company registered in India, CIN U62099KA2024PTC185886, at HSR Layout, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560102.
This covers:
- data you sent us directly — an enquiry, an email, a project brief;
- data we received through the WhatsApp Business Platform or other Meta APIs, such as your phone number and the messages exchanged;
- data held inside a product we build and operate for a client, where we act as that client's processor — see section 05, which explains the extra step involved.
02What we may hold about you

03How to request deletion
Email hello@vilohittech.in with the subject “Delete my data”. There is no form to fill in and no account to create.
Include:
- The identifier the data is held against — your phone number in international format (for example +1 555 123 4567) if this is about WhatsApp or SMS, or the email address you wrote to us from.
- The product or practice the data relates to, if you are writing about a product we operate for a client rather than about Vilohit Tech itself.
- What you want deleted — everything, or a specific item.
Please write from the email address, or about the phone number, that the data is held against. If you cannot, we may ask you one or two questions to confirm the data is yours before we delete it — deleting on an unverified request would itself be a security failure.
04What happens next

There is no charge for a reasonable request.
05Data inside a product we operate for a client
Many of the products we build are run on behalf of a client — a medical practice, a brokerage, a service business. For that data the client is the controller: they decide what is collected and what happens to it, and we act only on their instructions.
So if your request concerns one of those products:
- contacting the organisation you deal with directly is fastest — they hold the relationship and the authority to decide;
- but you do not have to. Write to us and we will forward your request to them, tell you that we have done so, and delete the data as soon as they instruct us;
- we will never refuse to pass a request on, and we will not leave you without an answer.
06Stopping messages immediately
Deletion takes up to 30 days. To stop messages now, without waiting:
- WhatsApp — reply STOP to any message, or block the sender from the chat. Blocking takes effect immediately and no further messages can be delivered.
- SMS — reply STOP.
- Email — use the unsubscribe link in any message.
Stopping messages is not the same as deleting data; send the deletion request too if you want both.
07What we may have to keep
A small amount of data cannot be deleted on request, because Indian law requires us to keep it:
- invoices, receipts and tax records — kept for eight financial years;
- records needed to establish or defend a legal claim, for as long as that claim is live.
We will say so explicitly if this applies to any part of your request, rather than quietly keeping it. Everything else goes. Retention periods for all other categories are in section 12 of the Privacy Policy.
